I recently stayed at a cozy cabin in Big Bear for Christmas weekend, and I couldn't be happier with my stay. The location of the cabin was perfect - just a few minutes off the main road, yet secluded and private. Cabin #2, with its view of the snowy woods, was absolutely charming. The amenities were great, with good hot water, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious living area. The central heating, in the form of a gas freestanding fireplace, added to the cozy atmosphere. The cleanliness of the cabin and comfortable beds were also major highlights. I had a wonderful experience at Oak Knoll Lodge.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Our stay at Oak Knoll Lodge was fantastic. The location was secluded and private, giving us a sense of tranquility amidst the snowy woods. The cabin was cozy and clean, with good hot water and a well-equipped kitchen. The central heating fireplace was a bit tricky to figure out but definitely warmed up the place. We loved being so close to the main road through Big Bear while still feeling tucked away.

Cabin #15 had a cozy cabin feel with log decor, stone fireplace, and comfy memory foam bed. Spa jacuzzi tub was amazing and towels were soft. They provided complimentary coffee, kitchen supplies, and a grill. Enjoyed the swings and horseshoe pit. Quiet neighborhood, close to town, and no-contact check-in made it convenient. Can't wait to return!

I recently stayed at a charming lodge in Big Bear for a romantic getaway. The room had a spa tub and a comfortable bed, perfect for relaxation. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals. The TV was strategically placed, allowing us to enjoy it from both the bed and the spa tub. We also had a private back porch with a table, adding to the overall appeal of the place. The setting was great, providing a quiet and comfortable retreat. I can't wait to see the lodge fully remodeled and managed by someone who takes pride in making it shine.

The cabins were clean and the pool was well-maintained. The location was convenient, with nearby businesses within walking distance and a quick drive to shops and restaurants in the village. The manager was friendly and helpful, providing local tips and even assisting with clearing snow from our parking area.
The cabin we stayed in was a bit dated and could use some updates. The bathroom was a bit small for our family of six.

This hidden gem is located within walking distance of the best hiking trails and less than half a mile from the lake. The cozy and clean rooms provide a comfortable stay, while the owner's campfire gathering allows guests to socialize and roast marshmallows. The staff is accommodating and helpful, providing recommendations for dining options and assisting with any issues. The vintage aesthetic of the lodge and cabins adds character to the experience. Oak Knoll Lodge offers a peaceful and picturesque setting for a memorable vacation.
Despite the positive experience, some guests encountered issues with the DVD player and TV initially, but the front desk promptly resolved the problem.

The spa jacuzzi tub was amazing, and the towels and bed sheets were soft and smelled great. The memory foam king-sized bed was very comfortable. The hotel provided complimentary coffee, sugar, and spices for the coffee maker, as well as all the necessary kitchen supplies. We enjoyed the swings and horseshoe pit, and the quiet neighborhood was perfect for walks. The hotel's location was great, close to hiking trails and the lake, and only a short drive to town. My recent trip to this hotel was amazing! I stayed for a few nights and it was the perfect location - close to everything yet still provided privacy. The first night, it felt like we had the place to ourselves and we were even upgraded to a gorgeous cabin. The staff went above and beyond, providing firewood and ensuring our comfort. We took advantage of the nearby hills for sledging and snow play, which was so much fun. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I'm already planning my return!
Would recommend this hotel.
